How to combine ITIL, PMBOK, COBIT, ISO 27k, TOGAF and other frameworks for structuring a comprehensive IT management approach.Introduction:
Several frameworks, standards, methodologies and tools have been designed to support IT management within organizations. Companies seek, with the use of these mechanisms, the placement of IT management and organizational strategies, mainly to ensure that IT supports them to align the IT infrastructure and services with business strategies, goals and objectives.
Although there are a variety of options for frameworks, standards, methodologies and tools available, when they are used independently, these are not sufficient to meet the wide-ranging needs of IT. This is mainly due to each approach/standard/framework having a very specific approach to resolving organizational concerns.
In this seminar, we will introduce a comprehensive and holistic IT management approach discussing how to select and combine the related frameworks and standards such as ITIL, PMBOK, COBIT, ISO 27001, and TOGAF to meet all of the IT management needs. The presenters will also speak about a few practical combined methods.
